L'EXPOSITION ITINÉRANTE

SHARED MEMORY OF HIGH RESISTANCE

Because a man without memory is a man without life, a people without memory is a people without future.

Marshal Ferdinand Foch

The new night-show Liberté, les combattants de l'ombre from Cléry's Sound & Light Association features and pays tribute to the resistance and resistance fighters who fought for our freedom.

As part of this new show, with the help of the University of Orléans and INSPE d'Orléans, a group of volunteers from the association has formed to develop an exhibition. Various readings, museum visits, salvage of period objects and testimonies have allowed a better impression and understanding of our local history during the Second World War.

Chronology of events, youth, food, rising perils… How did our region experience the Second World War?

The Cléry's Sound & Light Association is making this travelling exhibition available to communities and schools in order to respond to and share the memory of yesterday’s heroes.

Depending on their capacity, municipalities and/or schools are invited to book this exhibition on a time to be determined. For further information, please use the contact form, subject 'The exhibition' : CONTACT
